time to trade in the A5, I just hope this is coming here, we still didn't get the new S4.

VERY underwhelming. Way, way too vanilla for an Audi RS car. I will not be getting one...

I can honestly say for the same money, I'd much rather have a GT-R.

What a bunch of crap... The thing is, I bet Audi expects people like me to want to go straight for the R8, when I could give two shits about it. I would rather have an S3 for my wife and the RS6 for my DD. The only cars in the lineup that excite me are the V12 TDI Q7 (oh yeah, we don't get that either), the S4 Avant (oops, again), and the TT-RS (you get the idea).

The new S8 better come here and it better be good...

No manual, no US version, ghey wheels...M3 FTW. For the amount of time Quattro GmbH put into developing this car, I am not impressed.

1-Well it's not confirmed yet on no U.S. availability, so we can keep our fingers crossed.

2-No manual is disappointing, but look at the 458 Italia and Ferrari's move on that-this is the future of production sports cars I fear

3-If you read the press release you will see that QuattroGmBH put a lot of time into developing the drive train of this vehicle. The fuel economy on the engine is outstanding, it has a brand new Quattro system with torque vectoring/crown gear differential, and it has some form of a KERS system from the facory. That is where a lot of development time went and I'm sure the handling on this car is outstanding-

4-a source at QuattroGmBH states that this car is 10 seconds faster on the ring than the previous RS4 and is putting down the same times as an R8 V8...

ddi540/c63 is an unknown quantity at this point
The GTR is looking pretty good if this car gets anywhere near 70k and that doesn't include dealer mark up! Can't wait til someone shakes this RS5 down too really see the performance numbers...

The GT-R performance wise is no question the more exiting car. I don't know that the RS5 can be pitched against the GT-R, certainly no sub 4 second acceleration, softer supension et al. but it will be much nicer inside and a much more comfortable ride, much more of a DD with 4 seat and huge trunk capability that has a punch when wanted. I still would get one if it came over here. At no point would I want a GT-R. We have no idea how that thing will last and what you will have to pay out of pocket because of voided warranty.
