Audi RS5 Brochure
#22
I have only watched the pictures and not read anything about it, BUT I think the whole deal woth th "RS-series" is that it can handle a family "comfortably" and still be fun on the track. I feel that this RS-coupe won't fit 4 (or even 5people) as comfortable as the RS4 or the RS6 and therefor I hate it. Yes, you read it right, hate.

The embargo ends on the 22nd and the rest will be available

I don't think this car is any more reserved than the M3. I absolutely love it, however. I'd love to see the nice Recaros make it stateside along with a manual trans. I'm really surprised that Audi has kept everyone in the dark this long about the engine. I'm dying to know what engine they'll use and how much power it'll have. I think 520-540 bhp would be just about right for this car, so here's hoping...

I have a feeling the option policy in the US will stay the same. MT and A transmission, two trim lines Premium and Prestige, inlays and NAV extra. The sport bucket seats will not make it as few will buy them here in such a car.
The consensus I read everywhere is a 4.2 V8 NA with 450HP. I am sure a turbo or SC will be available just about when the warranty expires.
Yes the rear seats are tight. Even for my son I have to move the seat some up, just like in the 911. However it is very comfortable to drive, maybe less with larger rims and less rubber as mine are I believ 18s. However you will get their selectable three stage suspension.

Eh.... so FRUSTRATED. I have my C4S - this wouldn't be different enough (or any faster) than my P-car. The RS6 would be a winner. A Cayenne GTS is still possible. I might just go nuts and dump the Porsche for an Aston V8 Vantage and get a GT-R for a DD. It's maddening, but in a good way.

Great looking car! I wish Audi would bring those seats stateside also. I think it may have something to do with the seats not having airbags because they didn't offer the better seats on my R-8 either. At the Frankfurt show last year the R-8 had similar seats and what a difference....so much more lateral support. Wish we got the good stuff in the states.

It needs bigger fender flares and different wheels and we will have a winner.
This would be a very nice little stable of cars Chris!
