i agree.

the new S4 engine seems like a great platform if you ask me. Supercharged V6 with DSG and a tune is very fast.

A lot of people were disappointed with the news that it has an NA motor, but a source at Quattro GmBH says that the engine configuration is perfect for "the overall package" that the RS5 will deliver and it will not disappoint.

Also,
The embargo Audi has on this car regarding press info will be lifted between Feb. 22-26th. So hang in there guys we're getting close!

Translated into English-they underpowered it.

The first kits from AWE, MTM and APR etc are coming out for the 2.0T A5 it seems with ECU, IC, CAIC and exhaust you can get this little engine to 350HP. Add in AWD and the weight saving over the V8 and you have a fast A5 for under $50K.

From a guy on RS6.com:

am translating eye witness news here:

"Just got home from Münich where I have seen the new A8.

We had a look at the RS5, it looks very potent. RS6 style wheel arches and a small R8 wing at the back. It look really brutal! No one was allowed to take pictures, guards made sure no one did anything 'illegal'"

Can't wait to see the real thing. Not to mention drive the beast!

I don't think so and the car isn't even on Audi's rollout for the next 12 months in the U.S...

I do plan on doing a lot of RS5 parts on my car though

Any thoughts on the price? My feeling is it would have to start just under $70K and with options be in the mid 70s to be competitive. I may be completely off but just compared to what a GT-R goes for.
