Anyone Have Any Experience With A Ur Quattro?

I'm getting a car to run around in and have come across a pretty mint example of the quattro. 1985 10valve.

Anyone have any ownership experience, or can point me in the right direction ( forum )?

It's a car i would own the rest of my life, i just don't want to be paying through the teeth to fix it all the bloody time.

Well then make damn sure it doesn't have any corrosion or electrical problems. These cars can be an electrical nightmare from what I've seen. But it is one of those cars that you hang onto for a life time. Post some pics!

No experience with them, but boy that car looks sweet! Love the old school widebody fenders!

That is the "sport" version I believe. This is not it. Great car though. I do rescind my "OMG" because I forgot which 5-cylinder these had, I thought the ROW versions had the higher-spec engine.

The 20v?

That came in like '87 or something. The 10v has lower end torque.

I'll see how it drives this afternoon.
