Not feeling it to be honest. Though never been much of a fan of chrome.

 

Not chrome, polished aluminum, like the iconic Avus show car. When the body is aluminum, one can showcase the material by polishing. (Doesn't mean one should.) Can't polish carbon fiber (just get shinier carbon fiber) or steel (just get rust -- unless you chrome it).

While I like the look, I can't imagine it being remotely practical or safe. Sun blind yourself, you hit somebody; blind somebody else, they hit you. Neither is a good outcome.

 

I think it looks ok, actually. It's almost subtle.

way too much chrome for me. I would be way too scared to drive it anywhere and i think the r8 is made to be driven.

 

I like it! Works for that car IMO
