- Oh well.... I might just pick up a 08 RS4 with the way the prices are going - I could get one at half of the original MSRP right now.

If I read this stuff correctly, the RS5 is getting a TT'd version of the last-gen RS4 4.2 liter V8. But it will have "only" (disappointing w/ TT's) 450 hp???

That's what I would have thought - a breathed on RS4 engine to get to those specs, but (from the OP):
