lol, it's a friend of mines car, it's not the woman's car. He was on the 6 with a 996 C4S that was tracked out and supercharged. He just moved to the UK and picked this up. Crazy car, love the colour too. The RS6 is pretty much the ultimate DD.

New has been sort of quiet on the RS5 recently, hasn't it?

I love the blue; it has a little bit of Audi heritage and it's no different from the the GT3 RS Green (sorry, don't know the official name), BMW's Laguna Seca Blue, etc. Those who know about the company's heritage, know; those who don't know, ehh... I wouldn't buy a car to impress them.

BTW, didn't mean to insinuate anything about your own tastes. My previous post may have been ambiguous.

no offense taken. history or not, i would not pay for a blue avant. for me, that car should be understated, 99% of the general public wouldn't know the difference.

as for the gt3rs, green wouldn't be my first choice, but it's more fitting to that car. if i were to ever buy a lambo, it would surely be some bright color.

Answers to questions in this thread:

Yes, it's Sprint Blue.

The RS5 will have a hotter version of the RS4 engine w/~450hp.

No RS6 is sold in the US (Avant or sedan).

+1 My allroad has a 6 speed and is nicely "tweaked". The only thing I'd swap it for would be an RS6 if I could get one. 4 kids, lots of kiteboard 'stuff', its the perfect hauler if you don't want an SUV.

i wish i could have held out for a 6speed with the 2.7t. if i had a manual tranny, i'd swap turbos and get stand alone fuel management.
