I would DD an RS6 Avant or RS4 Avant any day. That color is perfect!!!! That car is perfect!!!!

 

They're not doing it for a reason.
I must admit, its an awesome, practical and absolutely fast car, but it costs just as much, if not more than the base V8 R8. (I think)

There is just no way in hell, i would pick ''a wagon'' over a sportier R8. I am pretty sure a lot of people agree with me.

who cross shops an R8 and any wagon? That's like going out to pick up a Cayenne Turbo and coming home with a Gt3.

If I were in the market for a Range Rover Supercharged, CTT, etc, and didn't need to tow anything, a(n) R/S6 Avant, M5 wagon or E63 wagon would be test driven as well.

 

I would MUCH rather have an RS6 Avant than an R8 for the same money.

But then again, I have 4 kids, 3 dogs, and lots of etc. to go with them.

Completely different markets.

Russ, I've got no kids and no dogs and I still agree with you. The RS6 is a monster. Coming from the RS4 and having spent a lot of time with an A6 last summer (month-long rental), a combo of the two would be heaven. Honestly, I had NO complaints about my RS4, I just wanted another 911 more.

If the RS6 (or RS4 Avant) ever makes it to the US, I'll find a way to get one. I love it that much.

Audi's depreciate like a MF-er here in the US. I hope to be DD-ing a 2 to 3 year old Audi RS-something within a year or so. Although not likely at this point, I really hope it will be an Avant.
