Wowwww.... I have been on the edge about getting a R8 for a while now but this does it for me... Now its only matter of time before I throw the M6 out and begin my hunt

I just think the R8 is going to look VERY dated in 5 years or so... Those crazy colors definitely do it favors though. Treat it like a Lambo - i.e. deck it out in wild greens, oranges, etc.

Maybe I'm boring but I just prefer the classic colors. All these oranges and bright green's dont do much for me. It's still a bas ass car though.

I think it looks great in orange like that, but my all-time favorite R8 is dark blue with the CF sideblade. I'm really pumped for the V10 model to come out and finally give this car the balls it deserves. I'd actually really love to see the V12 TDI make it to production as well.

I saw a seal grey one this weekend with carbon blades, it looked amazing.

agreed, no wacky colors on this car. im not a fan of those carbon sideblades either. i think they look fairly retarded. R8 in general looks ok, better in person.

barrister's right though, gutless feel is prevalent. needs power stat
