White S3 3 door from Europe

Didn't realize you guys didn't get the S3 over there, why is that then?
They're a bit of a wolf in sheeps clothing over here, a really well sorted car tho without to much of the "look at me". In fact, was reading in Audi Driver mag after they first came out,lot of owners actually had them de-badged to start with coz didnt want the attention. They look quite tasty in orange as well. TT not much more tho so most opt for one of them.

There is a stigma against hatchbacks in the US (though it does appear to be waning). I love hatchbacks personally - I've had a couple GTIs and an A3 now. The S3's price in the US would also be quite high - over $40K US when you consider a TT-S will be $45K (and I bought my Cayman for $46K). Again, I would still spend the money on an S3 - I appreciate the look, the size, the practicality, and the relative exclusivity.
I have enjoyed every minute of owning my VW Golf (5 door) - What other compact car can you take 12 (plus DD) university students to the bar in?
We also have done hundreds of Cottage/Montreal trips with 4 people, and all their equipment/beer/food no problem...well...There was the stripper incident, but thats for another day...
