R8 wheels on an RS4
#11
Why don't you print out 1:1 copies of the R8 wheels, have them laminated and put over your current wheels . . . And after about 12 seconds like that, you'd realize that the stockies are, in fact, much prettier. So then you rip them off and see how well laminated R8 wheel print-outs work as frisbees. I don't know what I'm talking about now.

Jox, I must be doing something wrong. I removed the wheels from my car just like you said and tried throwing them from the window a few times. They don't seem to fly well even though I live on the sixth floor- they seem kind of heavy and the neighbors have complained a bit. Maybe I'm missing something here. Were you only supposed to remove the laminated print-outs?

Okay get an aftermarket exhaust, remove a resonator or something just keep the stock tips. It will sound beastly with the combination I am telling you about.

I'm reading, but not sure how the pinstriping is supposed to look. Did Mohammed mean like a lip on the wheels?

The winter wheels (stock RS4 silver wheels) are getting repaired/refinished now - I should get them back in a few weeks. When I get them, I'll take pics.
Also, I am going to get my RS4 detailed when I get back from a biz trip. It currently is the stock Avus Silver with silver/aluminum trim but I put the titanium package wheels on it. It looks VERY classy - I'll get some pics up when I return.
