Money and customer support. There is no economic reason to try to best the new Merc 1350 engines and Mercury's dealer network.

I agree 100% with GoFastKindaGuy.

What is the point of building a one off engine for a project like this? To show you can?

I can drive a car with my feet but it doesn't mean I should.

i am not arguing sir and certainly do not mean to come off as condescending or insulting.

i thing you are confusing craig barrie to be the owner of cigarette racing team, but he was CEO of cigarette and owner of Hawk power.

after more thought the cig above would look very nice and clean with the other branding removed. the 46' above has 1200 cobra's and should scoot very nicely.
