True $$$ talks, and BS walks. All I was getting at is that I expected more.

Not too shabby, but I prefer the SLS and AMG boat more.

Not a huge fan. I think that there should be more Ducatiesque elements to the design, not just paint and stitching.

Money and customer support. There is no economic reason to try to best the new Merc 1350 engines and Mercury's dealer network.

That is soooo far from the truth it hurts. You can marinize any engine. Practical maybe not but doable absolutely.

Customer support is a very good point. Who would fix the engine? you certainly couldn't roll up to your nearest Mercedes dealership and ask them to jump under the engine hatch and give it a tune up.

^^^i think you realize its not possible.

go try to build a reliable 1000+ horsepower motor and let me know if its possible or not. there is a reason they cost $100k+ per motor; not a turn key package.

projects like this/these should come as a package with the boat/car or boat/bike and match colors, etc. IMHO, of course.

I worked for a custom boat builder, one of the last engines we put in was a LS5 Corvette engine, we marinized the engine. No it was not 1000 HP but all of the components are available and yes A good friend of mine built a 1075 from scratch to merc specs cost him about $75k all in.

Nothing is impossible, and consider who we are talking about here, Cigarette and AMG either one could easily do it, Cigarette used to build there own motors! Hawk Racing Engines?!

Or maybe you didn't realize that.
