I need to look at a calendar and when I come up with a date then I will post it. I also need to create an application for the participants.

Most likely around June/July. Everyone will have a few months to "prep" their boat.

 

Can I enlist a Voulenteer to go on a few websites: OSO, Boatfreaks, Checkmate Forum, Donzi forum to spread the word??

I would suggest moving your max boat size up to 22 there are some really sweet boats that size which would still be considered mini by comparison, I am just thinking I have a 22 Donzi Classic I could bring 009 edition

 

I was thinking about that today. I actually agree with you. Thats a pretty good size limit. But, when you compare that to my Mini Hawk with only a 25 hp, you'd be way ahead of me, but like I said, its just a fun run, not a race.

I am going to make a registration form tonight and I will send them out to people who'd like to participate.
I also have to talk to the Marina to see if they'd let me host it there. I also have to let the harbor patrol know that we will be running around the bay so they dont go crazy seeing a bunch of fast boats running around.
I will type up a form now.
I havent decided on a date, but I am getting close to that.

No a racing 25hp on a little boat can be very fast!! Check out the Sea Flea Racing, they are a 12 Hydroplane with a 25, they run in the 60's tell me that wouldn't be hair raising!
