She is the Apache II, its a 1922 29' Hacker Craft Gentlemen's Race Boat
"Norman De Vaux commissioned John Hacker to build Apache II. She was delivered to Lake Tahoe in the summer of 1922. Mr. De Vaux competed in the Tahoe races throughout the 1920's for the crown of Lake Champion. After the depression, Apache II was purchased by George Newhall and kept at his estate at Lake Tahoe until she sleft in the 1950's. Her Restoration was accomplished by preserving as much of the original boat as possible, including the original copper riveted bottom, top side framing and riveted battens.
Her power is a 1917 Packard built Liberty 400HP 12-Cylinder"
