hate to be the practicalist, but with four engines, what is the likely range of the thing? could it make it from huntington to catalina island or were talking the hare syndrome here

exactly! i just had a simple answer to the practicalist

id venture to say that the boat @ cruise burns 2-3 gallons per minute...

I would say that it has at least a 400 gallon fuel capacity, so it should make it to Catalina and back no problem.
