(Flashback Video) ORIGINAL MIAMI VICE SCARAB

"This is the first Scarab used in the TV series "MIAMI VICE" seasons two and three. Used in :Out where the busses don't run, Payback and many others. This boat can be identified in the show by its lack of lights on the arch and no railings between the scoops on the engine hatch. This vidio was filmed off of Catawba Island (Lake Erie) on 8-31-08

Funny thing is - with twin carbed 454ci. motors that it probably came stock with, I doubt it would break 60 mph.

If I am not mistaken the first boat used (in the earlier episodes) was a Chris Craft. When I lived in San Antonio someone there had a boat exactly like the Miami Vice Scarab. Used to see it at Medina Lake all of the time.
