I've always liked the Monster, another motorbike that I like is the 1,000cc Tamburini from MV AGUSTA.

This article helped me decide to buy my Monster 696. I can vouch for the fact that it is great for the total newbie. I had never been on a street bike before - although I have extensive dirt bike experience. The 696 is easy to ride and has plenty of power to scare you. I love mine. I just wish I had more time to ride!

Barrister, how do you like the size, does it feel small at all? (I'm 6'1 245)

I am a big guy - 6 ft and much heavier than you. The bike does not feel small at all. It is just the right height for me. I am very heavy and the bike handles my weight no problem.

If you ever want to come by and check out my bike, let me know.

Is the car in your avatar your's? If so, I have seen you many times at Cars & Coffee.

yeap, car in avatar is mine. I'll definately have to come check it out.

How many miles have you put on it? Have you done any of the maintenance schedules yet? If so, are they costly?
