Ara- I've read where non Termi set ups DO cause issues on the Duc's. Or is that more isolated towards the first 1098/848 bikes?

I'm not sure as I have not done much research on the 1098/1198/848. I would NOT recommend running an aftermarket exhaust system without some sort of fuel management/power commander/ecu flash to compensate for the changes. That's where the Termi comes in. Even they are often not perfectly mapped, but it's a good starting point.
