Firstly, I know its not going to be to everyones taste especially some hardcore Ducatistas. I'd politely like to leave the pro-con debate out of this thread.
I looked at the reviews about the Diavel and talked to some experienced individuals who had been to the launch in CA last week about their impressions and the result is that I've gone and ordered one. Its a Diavel Carbon (Red) with a stock exhaust which I intend to change later (wait to see what Akra comes out with).
The bike ticks enough boxes for me to have ordered one and I'm excited about getting it sometime this month. It'll fit nicely with my Royal Enfield and BMW F800GS.
