KTM will have there first factory team in the AMA supercross and Nationals in 2011 by the way, they have done great in the world GP so hopefully they will be on top in the us too!
bikes are still in the 8-9k range I believe. mine is 4 years old now but still great bike. I just don't ride enough to get a new one right now. I haul kids around. That's all I get to do.

Pretty cool post. My bike was a 98 CR 250. I blasted the woods and motocross tracks daily until it was completely wore out. Although it was never quite fast enough, if i get another one it will be a KTM 525 EXC in hopes to take it to colorado some day. :/

The best sounding two stroke ever!!!

I miss mine a lot, but the only thing they are really good for are, dunes, hills and straight lines.

Havent been on a dirt bike since I was 16 or something, still miss the crazy wheelies and the endless RPM. last dirt ride was on a CR250 that was a beast, the kid who owned it had it tricked out to the limit and ended up breaking a few bones while trying to get the most of his mods. been toying around with the idea of getting a banshee for my little brother and I can still play around with it most of the time.

Makes me miss the Pro Circuit yz125, that bike would rip and keep up with 250s. After riding both the two stroke and four stroke bikes the four strokes are far superior in the racing scene. The torque of the four stroke is amazing but nothing will replace the high-revving two stroke bikes.

I am a 2stroke fan. The 4s are fun but most of my friends running them are constantly blowing them up.

There is nothing like riding the shit out of a 125 2 stroke. Come into the bank, slip of the clutch revvs to the moon.

I do it on my 250, but then my arms look like an orangutan's.

4 strokes are too linear ... I'm not there to be fast, I'm there to shit my pants.

I almost regret getting my 250 instead of the 125. The 125 lets you wring every last ounce out of the bike.
