Any good tracks around you? I know a lot of guys who gave up riding on the street but still do track days. More fun anyway.

There is a new one getting built about an hour away but the only good pavement now is either 2 1/2 hours south ( not so good ) or 4 1/2 hours away.

I'm looking forward to the new one but enjoy the cars on tracks.

I rode dirt bikes for about 10 years then made the switch to a 600cc CBR rr - To be honest I did not like it because I could not get the same thrill out of my dirtbike. Everytime I rode I was in traffic or at a stop light; drove me nuts. However it was a great starter bike. In the end I dumped it over on a country 2 lane'r. I didnt care though. I payed it off and will probably get another 2 stoke soon.

True that. Road is smooth and relaxed. You let yourself loose a bit every so often, but it's all just putting along in the end.
MX is like fighting bears on crack with your bare hands until you can't take it anymore.
Completely different animals.
