Absolutely awesome score Neijia. The Repsol livery is my favorite from Honda.

That generation of Fireblade's set a benchmark in the liter class. Not to mention the long string of real road racing and TT wins it's racked up.

Enjoy her in the best of health.

(I hear they're good for jumping and trimming the hedges too)

Great choice! If I were to ever get a 1000cc this would be it.

Any mods planned?

Now.... about those chicken strips

Thanks for all the compliments... this is absolutely the most fun I've ever had on a bike.

I know, the chicken strips have to go... Ordering the Dainese Pants later this week; I've got the Repsol helmet, Dainese full gloves, Jacket, Boots, just missing the pants. The biggest rush for me comes from hanging off the side of the seat in a big sweep, right now its a bit unnerving without the pants (still have to do it though)

Hmm, mods so far... installed the factory seat cowl, R&G fender eliminator, the Repsol hugger is on its way from the UK and last night I did the flapper mod.

The "flapper mod" is just like unplugging the Porsche Sport Exhaust in the engine bay, just as easy. (On the Porsche, this eliminates the first two chambers in the muffler at any speed, on the bike it opens the big chamber at any speed; or, always open) Remove three plastic clips under the seat, turn the synchro towards the front of the bike, undo the cable, return synchro to the original position, put the cover back on, clips, then done. 1 minute tops. Then there is no need for a $900 slip on, sounds awesome

Looks great, congrats! I hated the styling of this gen CBR when it first came out, but it has really grown on me. Ride safe!

I've known of something like this but it was for the RC51s. Didn't know you could do it for this bike though. How did it affect the sound? Very cool man!
