My theory is that they want it to be a more special "brand" for Chevy, therefore making it an every-other generation car. C4 gen had a ZR1, C5 did not, C6 did, and the C7 does not.

Chuck brings up a good point about the heat issues. I'll be interested to see how that plays out. I know that even on the C6 Z06 there were heat issues on track days, but those were more transmission related I believe.

 

Yeah I'm not a fan of the C7 headlights

 

i thought it was because bad sales, since the viper is having this problem.
