Germany's Nürburgring has long been the standard bearer for performance machines. Setting records on the famed track in an SUV was unthinkable a short time ago, but the performance market has changed. Ring Queen Sabine Schmitz pilots the 2012 Grand Cherokee SRT8 to an 8:49 lap time around the 12.8-mile circuit.

Sorry, but isn't "SUV" and "Nürburgring" mutually exclusive?

Frankly, I find it rather silly when SUV's try to be like sport cars. We never see sport cars try to be like SUV's, do we?

its the belt on the roll bar.. you can see it swinging.. so its not necessarily a domestics part.. but i agree it is annoying

 

i just wish my '08 looked as good as the new ones
