So does this mean they breached their contract with Nelson Racing Engines? NRE was designing a 1000hp TT for them (1000hp pump, 1400hp+ race gas). When I went to NRE's shop last summer they said Shelby was looking to try and do it themselves so they didn't have to pay NRE. As soon as they brake the contract, Code Reds are available from Nelson.

Good point. For $200k you could have a Twin Turbo Ford GT making 1000hp with the sexiness of the GT, not a mustang.
I'd rather have a 550hp GT than a 950hp Mustang.
