New Grand Cherokee is a pretty nice setup... Might need some upgrades to handle the off road like the Raptor, but it def. has off road capability. I know the fully loaded (Overland I believe) has a lot of bells and whistles.

I currently have a Ford Raptor (6.2L) Supercab (2 doors plus the 2 half-doors) which is great. And while I could go a bit bigger and get a Raptor CrewCab with the full 4-doors and increased rear space, I'm wondering if there is a current day production SUV/SAV Raptor equivilent on the market (from any manufacturer).....
It would have most of the luxury bells and whistles, increased off-road capability without being a purpose-built off-road vehicle, and somewhat regular & reliable & servicable (Ford dealers in every city) while being a bit rare (something car guys appreciate).
Let's rule out a Unimog right away.
Thoughts?

1. What is your off-road type? Raptor is a great high speed desert truck while Jeeps(and most others) are slow rock crawlers.
2. What is your price range? You can get some very good, but much more expensive, vehicles.
Here are a few ideas.
Bowler Wildcat

Icon4x4 Bronco

Off-Road Masterpiece Bronco (2-seater, more race ready)

Out of the box, nothing has anything like the suspension travel or power delivery, short of purpose built race cars.
You could do a similar build on pretty much anything. I'd probably do a 4runner myself, as they're fairly nimble as SUVs go and fairly bomb proof.
