You were at the LA Auto Show, right?

I was told there was a 12 and 13 Boss side by side. What are your thoughts on the new Boss?

How bout the 13 Shelby?? I think that might be my next car!

The new 2013 BOSS isn't better then the 2012. The revised nose and rear make it look too round. I also don't like the new side graphics and single stripe. The 2012 graphics were perfect. The single stripe looks waaaaaay out of place. IMO 2012 > 2013. You win Pete I have some great photos of the engines cut apart. I'll post them in the thread. The 2013 500 is absolutely sinister. I'm still on the fence about the pair of dual pipes. I'll just have to get used to it. The front splitter was three pieces which was kinda goofy. It was a center piece and two side pieces. Looked odd. The revised taillights on all models look perfect. The perfect balance of OEM design and After Market style. Very aggressive stance but as usual I wish it had bigger meats. Overall Fords display was unreal. Easily top 5 of the show.

Sweet! I'll have to check your thread. I agree about the 2013. Don't like the stripes and its not very differentiated from the regular 5.0 or Shelby. I need to see the new 500 in person, but from what I've read and seen so far, me likey! Or I could just put a blower on the Boss!

Blower on the BOSS? Why don't you put some Giovanni wheels on the GT3?

I hope you aren't considering me in this. I am a Camaro fan, but I also love the Mustang. The Mustang GT is faster than the Camaro SS. But it is only slightly faster and I don't race. One of the main reasons of buying a muscle car is looks, and I just prefer the Camaro to the Mustang.
The BOSS is absolutely sick and I wouldn't trade one for the GT500. The BOSS is probably THE most fun muscle car to drive. Most precise and agile.

I have never been a GT500 fan, and 2013 isn't looking much better. I just don't like the looks that much. For me the ZL1 is light years better. But I can respect someone else's opinion.

They both have strengths and weaknesses, and to me the Camaro takes the edge. I am not saying it is a better car, just for me.
Like you said, both companies make great products. If it weren't for the Mustang the Camaro wouldn't exist now, and if it weren't for the Camaro the Mustang probably wouldn't have 400hp.
