No kidding, I can count the shifts that didn't hit the rev limiter on my hands. I hope they release the new vid soon.

[QUOTE=A3aan;1084901]Impressive, but not really since it's not a normal viper, it has the aerodynamics of a full race car and the car was driven years and years until this record was set by the Same driver (Tom Romeo Coronel) that set the record in 2008..[/QUOTE

Try actually knowing the facts before you post. Counting the 2 half days last week ( Monday & Wednesday ), and the 5 laps that the 09 ran when it set the 7:22:1 back in 2009, the Viper has a total of a day and a half at the ring. AND while Tom Coronel was there driving the black and green ACR, the record was set by Dominik Farnbacher in the grey and black ACR.

Farnbacher was probably driving the red ACR-X and did the fastest lap that day with 7:03 and Coronel in the "streetcat" grey/black - green/black ACR ?

As someone in possession of the facts I already posted who drove what.

For those of you who don't believe the LFA is ALWAYS at the ring testing. This video was taken by the Viper team while setting the record last week.

An impressive record, and I think we can all agree that the Viper fans have shown great tact and grace in this thread.

Kudos to Dodge for putting out some serious hardware. Here's CEO Ralph Gilles introducing the ACR-X

This is so true... I went for a ride in one driven at 9/10ths and honestly, my immediate thought out of the first corner was life insurance. Dodge's interpretation of a very balls to the walls car.
