Does anyone know if the 302 Laguna Seca comes with a quiet horsepower-robbing exhaust so you can drive it at Laguna Seca and not upset the people that built their houses next to an existing race track?

Congrats on the purchase! I had the pleasure of spending some one-on-one time with a new BOSS and would love to own one at some point. Enjoy it!

no way that car is close to loud enough to be above the sound levels allowed.

It might be... The noise restrictions are pretty strict at LS. Many stock motorcycles get black flagged.

I've raced there under restrictions before. $3k added muffler off the back of my cup car was horrendous

He can just lift a little up the hill after 5 and anything can pass the noise ordinance

Stock cars are typically fine.

You mean after 6

I agree with you for the most part, it's just sometimes they are really weird about it. Haven't been able to figure out why some days seem more restrictive than others. It's really too bad that track is ruined by noise restrictions.

Ok, you said up the hill, so I figured you meant after 6. Pretty sure that's where the noise meters are now.

both climb a hill

6 goes into the Rahal straight up to the corkscrew. The sound meter is typically just before the bridge after 5 I believe.

I wish I could find a picture of that exhaust hanging off my Cup. It was hysterical.
edit found one
