I agree, My best friend had an 08 Z06. I drove it multiple times, needles to say it was a blast. Even in stock form they have tons of power. The interior is not the best, but when you have all that hp/tq who cares. Especially when it comes to price.

One thing I noticed about the big 7L V8 is that it is quite harsh in many of the Z06s I have driven. You can feel a lot of chaos through the shifter and pedals. Not really a gripe, but the ZR1 feels a lot more "street". Either way, they are nice cars and I still like the looks of the C6 a lot. I saw a Cyber Gray Grand Sport on the road the other day and it looked downright mean!

I havent had the chance to drive a ZR1, hard for me to compare them side by side. I do know what you are talking about with the Z06, feels more raw and unrefined.

I would bet the Magnetic Ride Control makes as much or more of a difference than the SC's. The Z06 has always been noted as skittish near the limit due to its suspension.

Everyone has been saying this since the 60s or something

I hate the lame ass "fix the interior" quote. What are you people comparing it to? A Ferrari? No shit it is not going to be as good. It costs HALF as much but has ALL the performance. That kind of price difference has to come from somewhere and interior is one place. I have been in Corvettes and there is no complaint from me on the interior.

Chevy could easily up the quality/interior then you have a $200k+ car and what did you accomplish? Nothing. Now you just have another exotic that the average joe can't afford. The beauty of the Corvette is that it provides all the performance of a Ferrari in a package that regular people can afford.

Treat it as that. Don't compare it to cars 2-3 times as expensive and expect it to be as good in every way. That is just stupid.
