I agree, I dd mine, so I feel you. It doesnt have to be that same interior....Im SURE there are materials that are more durable, and will thus provide a longer wear life. I have a 3lz - so I have the small upgrades, however, some more exotic patterns and textures in a variety of colors in the zr1 would attract a whole new spectrum of buyers, in my opinion

Everyone who complains about the interior just needs a leg to lean on. Any Corvette punches WAY above the belt. I honestly don't have one complaint. Any Corvette interior is extremely rugged. My dentist has a '63 Sting Ray and has never used a dash cover. I kid you not it still looks brand new. Whether it be any car, someone always tries to find a negative.

You don't think alcantara, white leather, and diamond stitch fabric would get ruined quickly? Corvettes aren't garage babies. I can see people have complaints but at the same time even though Chevy is vastly improving the C7's interior, they really don't need new clientele. I don't expect them to make a wild interior with exotic materials. I expect it to be better designed with a few new materials. I wouldn't be shocked if it had an Alcantara wheel and shifter. The ZL1 and CTS-V's have them so naturally GM's performance heart would have it. Corvettes will always sell because of their customers. They are an extremely loyal bunch, as with Porsche and other sports car manufacturers. They sold 7,500 Vettes in 2009. GM, since the launch of the C6, has improved every single interior. I expect a sporty interior that is well though out, extremely comfortable, and has the essence of Corvette. Also I'm expecting it to be a retro design to go with the rumored split-window.
