Yes, I replaced the 2 transversal leaf springs and stock shocks (4) with 4 coil springs and adjustable shocks.

The leaf springs in the Vette are not what you are thinking. They are not like what you used to see holding up the back of pickup trucks. There is a great post on Edmunds Inside Line site that does a complete walk thru of a 2011 Z06 with the upgraded brakes and suspension. You can see that the transverse leaf spring is a lightweight alternative to coils. I just had my Z06 aligned and corner balanced so the leafs allow that too!

I know you are going to love those two upgrades. Top notch stuff. Chevy could have made a killing just offering something like that as an option from the get go. I have driven a Z06 with the perforated leather steering wheel and that would be my choice. Good luck!
