This SRT 8 Came into the shop to be prepped for a car show. This is a tracked SRT 8 so besides the normal paint defects associated with a race car there was the addition of heavy wheel rubber justifying this car was driven and driven hard. The car received a thorough hand wash and clay bar treatment to remove contaminants and prepare the paint for polishing. The car is then dried and all trim pieces are taped off to protected from damage and staining. This SRT required a 3-stage polishing process to remove the defects that were in the paintwork followed by a coat of Swissvax Mystery. The wheels were also removed, cleaned, and treated with Swissvax Autobahn Wheel wax to protect against brake dust and other environmental contaminants. After spending two days preparing the SRT it left our shop looking incredible. Here are some pictures.
