Why would it do that?
And is it just me or doesn't that 2-3 shift look absolutely brutal?

That's why they replaced the shifter with a short throw shifter. Brutal then, yes. Not now.

it does look brutal, rick says they sorted it on the '10's but the '08-'09 shifter must have been awful. shifter bushings i guess? needs a hurst or something baad. those tremec gearbox's are supposed to be pretty damn stout though.
