It would make a huge difference if the guy in the Vette didn't just slam the gas to the floor and cause a bunch of wheel hop, lifting, and then flooring it again. The fact that the Vette could even keep up after those launches is pretty surprising. If he just rolled onto the throttle and waited for the weight to transfer to the rear tires then gunned it he would have done much better. The launches are just atrocious.
