I wanted to wear out my old skins, so……

we took the cars and our ladies to the mountains for a 3 (which turned into 4) day run. About 3000 kms in total. We started by stopping to check out some dealers in Calgary (including Tunerworks Rob!!!). Then it was to the mountains. We had some fantastic scenery, terrific mountain passes, and GREAT company. We met up with BigBadBen at the end of the Needles Ferry, and then had a BLAST down the mountain toward Kelowna. Wowie, Ben can drive the wheels off his car!!! It’s a beast!!! Even in the rain with 1400 foot cliffs calling out like a siren song!!!

Anyway, here’s a few pics from the trip. Hope you enjoy. And I can happily throw away my old tires now knowing that they’re all used up!!!

Superfly - that is awesome, how many miles do you have on the GT now? Would you say the car is comfortable on longer trips like these? Who was your co-pilot?

That last picture is unreal! Any reason you didn't wear the dymags?

That showroom is amazing!

That is one nice Ford GT! I was out this past weekend running with a dark blue Ford GT and that beast has a very deep rumble.

My co pilot? See attached pic. Car has just under 5000 miles now. Most of those were from the California trip this spring https://teamspeed.com/forums/modern-...t-content.html and this one this past weekend!

Yup, pretty awesome!! The BBS' still had the old rubber. I wanted to wear it out before I threw the Hoosiers on those rims. Dymags will be back on right after the car is detailed!!!

Here's a pic of the cars in front of Tunerworks Rob's shop.

Beauty!! We also saw a midnight blue on our run, with 19/20 Dymags which were also fitted by Tunerworks Rob! Nice.
