Can I get some advice on a 2005 Ford GT?

I am looking at a 2005 white/blue stripes Ford GT w/5200 mi offered at $135K.. I have heard great things about the GT, but also have heard some nightmare recalls/repairs.. i.e. this car has already had the driveshaft replaced.. owners, do you LOVE this car? any advice for someone who has all imports?

Honestly, I think you'll find this car to be a perfect compliment to your 430 and GT3. A close friend has a GT as well as a 430 and they are two very different cars. Having driven all three I can tell you that the 430 is the classy performer, the GT3 the athlete, and the GT is the playground bully. Again, I think it will compliment your stable nicely.

I have an 06 ford gt, and its great. Some of the 05's had some recall issues but nothing major. You will love this car. The only negative about the car, are the doors. It's hard to get out of the car if you park next to another car. Let me know if you have any other questions.

The only advice I can give you is to buy it! Now! Sounds like and awesome car and they're truly one of the best supercars built in the past decade or two, imo.

search for the thread "california vacation" from a few days ago and you'll find the GT owners and just how much they love their cars.

I've always said, that if I stayed domestic, it would be a GT. Always liked that car, not really that popular, and I like that about it. More rare than a Viper. (which you don't see every day)

I drove my friend's FGT. I have this rule about not driving other people's cars. I made an exception with that vehicle. It is an awesome car. I dont think you'll regret buying it.
