Thats true, shifting means loosing time, but I've also heard that going faster means gaining time . Anyway, that has to one of the most annoying sounds ever!

Very cool accomplishment. Car needs a sequential box, though, badly.

at 5:38 it looks like he misses a shift or threw it in the wrong gear because you hear the car bog down and then he quickly reshifts...sick vid sick car no creature comforts just all business. That's even that hardcore package with not even the slightest comforts inside...

Guy's a good driver. The stock gearbox has a very narrow gate and it's extremely hard to shift fast with any kind of confidence. Miss 4th and you can spin the car pretty high in the triple digits.

Don't they use a modified T-56? TR6060 or something like that? I have the same thing in my car with a Hurst shifter and custom short stick. I have had it on a road course and I do SCCA events alot. I haven't had any issues like that. I wonder if the clutch wasn't adjusted right and it was causing the shifting issues? If it is not adjusted right it makes it harder to put into gear at WOT.
