Regarding the floormats do a search on F-chat, there are a couple of people who offer them make sure you get it done with yellow leather pipping for the floormats and change your seatbelts to yellow to freshen the look.

Ferrari uses a finish on the plastic parts that shouldn't be acceptable in a Chevy let alone a Ferrari. They continue to use the same finish and it turns sticky like roofing tar over time...I don't get it!

glad Ricambi was good to you. I have only ever heard good things about them. I feel like I helped save someone some money today.
And I had a 2001 Z06 and it had the biggest piece of shit interior. that car was fast, looked great, was a blast to drive, but at the end of the day it was a GM and it fell apart and had horrible build quality. I couldn't even park it in the rain with 45,000 miles on it without water soaking my floorboards lol

it's time
already dropped off the ac vents to my friend's shop and i saw them today. from 1 meter away they look BRILLIANT. they could use a repaint but i am not sure yet and will decide once i put everything together.
here is the centre console apart

got the parts back
they feel great and smooth which was my primary concern; they look absolutely perfect from 1 meter away, but clearly not 1999-original-state up close. repaint would settle all issues. that said, i do not mind their state one bit. i decided painting the switches will be overkill, as i have a new bracket for where they go in + new bracket for the mirror switches + new 3M film for the AC. the switches' current black-ness will fit right in and blend as original.
i will paint the ashtray in the future, just not now as i plan to put the interior together tonight. whenever i have the time, i can just pop it out and send it to my friends to paint. this settles the centre console. one of the corners cracked, and i superglued it.
hardest decision was what to do with the ac vents. their low quality is astonishing, my `93 R129s as a reference puts them to shame. the insides were very brittle, and i managed to break one of the blades but pulled it straight with a screwdriver.
one of the vents' sides broke, superglued it and i am happy with the result. again, they are easy to pop out and if i am peeved by their discolouration i can paint them along with the ashtray. my guess however is that i am being too picky and will settle for when they are back on
honestly, i don't mind painting them with a marker pen
seriously might look into that lol

Ouch!!
We had the same issue with the particular "rubber" materials found in the interior of the Maranello, this is including the hand brake and all control units. Started melting slowly. Took it to the dealership, they got it cleaned and applied some type of lacquer on all of the "rubber" parts, not really sure what kind, but it hasn't melted yet

can i get pics of the 575m bits before/after? or just current state?
the finish on the parts now is excellent and to me better than the originals. the only peeve is the discolouration of the ac vents but i will wait until i install them to see what i decide. still winter so all is good

Dont have any pictures of the interior before, but i'll take some proper interior pictures of the interior to show you its current state.
Btw on the the mini gear you have, the yellow stripe, is that duct tape or? Ours is plain
Oh and btw. The gear shift and the paddles are in brushed aluminium on the Maranello. GOD help you if yours are in aluminium in the summer. Can barley shift gears if the car is parked under the sun for more than an hour!!
