$183,904
Launched during October 1981's Paris Salon, Ferrari's 512i BB most notably marked the arrival of fuel injection on Ferrari's Flat-12. Replacing the familiar Weber carbs (seen on almost every previous Ferrari model) fuel injection not only improved an engine's flexibility but made it much easier to maintain as well as prolonging the lifetime of the engine. The BBi remained in production for almost three years. A few minor detail changes were made to the bodywork with clear reflectors inserted into the front bumper and supplementary driving lights now exposed in the grille. There were also new wing mirrors. 1007 fuel injected Boxer's were completed.
Chassis 39307 is an injection Boxer that was supplied on the 13 november 1983 via the Swiss Ferrari dealer Pedini Auto S.R.L who were based in the local region to Zurich of Perugia. The car is presented i its original colour scheme of silver with black sills and lower bumpers. The interior is trimmed most fittingly featuring red leather seats with Zegna cloth inserts (with matching door pockets, headlining and bulkhead), red carpets and a black leather dash and door cards. The car is presented in stunning condition accompanied by its original books and document wallet. The service is thorough to say the least with multiple stamps at accepted intervals throughout its life. Included in the history is a swiss Fiche D’Entretien Du Systeme Antipollution that has been stamped every year from 1987 until 2010. Most recently the car has had a large service by DK in 2005 and again a large service including belts at a cost of £7,000 in January 2009 by a swiss main dealer. Having covered just 47,000 kms from new the condition is as a result fabulous but original and unmolested also.
