I read somewhere that Ferrari spends about 50% of their budget on F1 and the other half on making regular cars. so they do make a huge margin on the ferrari's that they sell, but it gets eaten up by F1 costs.

Thanks for the share. Yeah, my buddy is a Ferrari mechanic at The Wynn in Las Vegas, he says he sees more and more local Ferrari's he is working on, nothing really new to them.
But like you said, Ferrari will survive. When will they not? Lol.

If the economy does not turn which would include the requisite increase in consumer spending, Ferrari's situation will not get any better. No luxury mfg's will. Not saying Ferrari's going under, but they'll certainly have to be more prudent with their spending and operations.

How are sales down when there's a waitlist for the cars they build? I'm missing something.

This post was for the years 2009-Mid 2010. Now, they are getting back up the food chain. Sorry for my ignorance on that part.

Easy. Building less cars and shifting production.
