Driving through Saudi?

Driving through Saudi?
Hello all,
I fear I may have lost my mind a little, but......
I'm living in Delhi at the moment, and have had a slightly unhinged idea. I want to buy a Hindustan Ambassador and drive it back to the UK.
Now, to avoid the major trouble areas I would get it shipped to Dubai for the start (father in law is there).
Then it would be the simple case of getting to Turkey, and up through Europe (the easy part).
Now, how easy/safe is it to travel through Saudi? This is the only bit I don't know about as i've never been.
I know it's a completely stupid idea, but it would hopefully raise a lot of money for charities back in the UK, and would be something I could talk about for the rest of my life.
I had two thoughts for the choice of vehicle, both had to have Indian-ness about them.
First up was the aforementioned Ambassador:

The other was the world's cheapest car - the Tata Nano:

The reason I would choose the Hindustan is that it is bombproof (not literally, but not far off), can be fixed anywhere by anyone, and it'd accept an LS6 V8 when i got it back to the UK
Plus a team of guys did the trip in a Nano last year.
So, what do you think?

What route did they take?
Oh, and I'd choose the Ambassador. They'll never sell the Ambassador in the UK.
Edit: Oh, and I think this is a whack crazy idea. I like it.

I know it's a batshit crazy idea, but i think it'd be fun!
The choice of car is down to ease of fixing and the fact that it would stand out. I know that for the money its not even close to the best car out there!
But it's a Morris Oxford, new!

I would be sticking an LS V8 in it once in the UK, with some nice wheels hehe.

Well i reckon there'll be space for some Teamspeed decals on the side of the car
I think it'd be quite funny to get some photos whilst in the UAE with the crazy car owning TS members there!
Just think of the image....
Veyron | 458 | SLS | Hindustan Ambassador | One-77 | LP670 | 599 GTO

. You should wait for a couple of months, the new model is almost out and they will also launch a getaway.
