Awesome footage. Can't wait to see Chris Harris' take on this car

Well I just have to say it: hands down, this episode has been the best I've ever seen!

That P1 bit was the worst "review" they've ever done of any supercar. Nearly zero facts about the car itself other then cruising around town in e-mode. And no real driving impressions other than screaming and shouting a bit at Spa. They should leave the reviews to Hammond & May. It was beautifully shot, but not a review.

LOVED the Alfa film though, and what an amazing piece of kit that jetski/quad was. Totally eliminates the hassle of loading your jetski on and off a trailer and towing it around.

I agree here! But the times where Top Gear did actual reviews are long gone. Most stuff is very close to bullsh!t, which I think is a very sad thing.
From an entertainment point of view this most recent episode has been outstanding, though. Filming was just breathtaking.

^ I do agree, however there still has to be some element of motor journalism left to cater to automotive enthusiasts. As it is, it's just too much clownshow and not enough motoring. Like I said though, May and especially Hammond tend to have much better reviews. JC has sort of become victim of his own success, the whole "village idiot" role is played out.
However, with media outlets such as /DRIVE, Motortrend and Autocar, there's no need for reviews by TopGear.

@Speedsters

I totally agree with you, but at the end of the episode they said it will be a stig lap in few weeks against the 918. Maybe they will release more motoring info in this episode.
Maybe i'm saying BS, but like you said, Hammond does better reviews and he is in charge to drive the 918.
Maybe he gonna say more things about it than JC. And let's not forget that it's possible they made this P1's review without more facts just to keep the suspence to next that will have the 918.

Could be, but from I understood that segment won't be a side-by-side comparison with the two.
Anyways, TopGear has the potential to be amazing at times (road trips, specials etc) but almost unwatchable at other times. Plus the whole "Star in bla bla" feels like a filler.

Agree for p1...but when he came to that hotel with 4c, it just fit there...I really wish i was there with this little Alfa...the car just looks gorgeous from some angles.
