UK Police Show Off McLaren 12C Patrol Car

UK police are fighting back against speeders with a 207 MPH McLaren 12C. The new super-fast patrol car will be unveiled at the Birmingham motor show this weekend. The 12C was supplied by the local dealer and sales director David Tibbett said: ‘We are delighted to help the police and their work.'

Angus Nairn, (star of 'Motorway Cops') says the vehicle will teach people about the danger of excess speed.

Luckily all of these supercar police cars are over seas.

 

So how come its a spider with aniline leather, carbon vanes and interior and contrast stitching? A waste of public money (on the options )

I'm assuming this is a McLaren specced vehicle that was GIVEN to the police force or sold at a very reduced amount!

 

Imagine you can't put the roof down with that lightbar in place so again a Spider makes little sense.
