Wanted the silver chrome finish as well (same finish on the F1 cars) but the paint finish was in a different material, and extremely light and in horrible paint condition
👍👍👍maybe later you can have access to it. Cool idea about the same paintjob on the F1 cars.

The P1 is sold out. I'm hoping for an open air variant down the road. There are plenty of 918's though so you're in luck. Let us know what color you order.

I asked if there will be a roadster version and they told me no. The next replacement will be in ten years. I cant remember but they did mention a handful of cars part of the 375 that are being produced will be part of GT racing, not sure which series though. Will do, as soon as production begins I'll post up the pictures of the P1. Really looking forward as I've been driving the 12C Spider at home quite a lot and absolutely fallen in love with it. Better than the italia by generations

I had a meeting with an engineering representative from McLaren and got the same info and I know about the mono cage. I was just having fun with a child. The engine block of the 12C minus the hybrid unit has been tested up to 800HP. With the AWE system installed, my car dynoded at 659. The P13 is going to creep close to the 12C. Though I didn't get this explicitly, the next generation of the 12C is likely to be in the 700 HP territory giving it space from the 13 and keeping it below the P1. So I'm sure I will be satisfied with the spyder version of that car. McLaren is following the the sliding scale of engine evolution that Porsche and everyone else uses. The 3.8L engine will wind up in 5-6 cars. There will progressive HP increases and design changes. It is the only way that the financial model works. The initial investment is capitalized over time.

At least there is no sign of the 16 variant methodology that Porsche employs on the 911. My last 911TT was a first series 997. I remember reading that Porsche celebrated it's 100,000 997. That is camry and taurus territory. I haven't bought a Porsche since.

Why does that clown keep posting? Every post I see he's laughing at his own "jokes" and makes a total fool of himself.
