Interesting fact that Dubai leads the P1 order book together with Dallas:
“As of now, the Dubai dealership is equal first with Dallas on taking deposits for this car, but I fully expect by the month end to be doing the leading.”

Dallas order book stands at 9 cars at the moment, really surprised that other high-volume markets like Beverly Hills for example wasn't able to squeeze out more orders.

I own a mclaren among other things and am well aware of the basics that mclaren has failed at and they are many( though perhaps excusable ) . I am on the list for a p1 ( as well as a 918 ) and I have discussed this in my trips to the mclaren technology centre and am not completely comfortable with the answers I was given .

Of the last pics released, I really loved the steering wheel. It looks better than I expected, very simple and keeping the "wheelpad" with just the necessary buttons, a good decission by all means, IMHO.
And, Artist, I agree on the power topic and on the fact that weight will have the last word!

Fair enough. I wasn't trying to insult you. Just seemed unlikely to me that those would be concerns that weren't handled. But I don't know anything.

Mate I was just trying to be matter of fact ? No offence here at all I assure you ( received or intentionally given ) . I get excited about all things motoring ( and most cars ) but have this nerd thing of trying to understand detail . Sorry if what I wrote was not in the spirit I intended it
