btw,i got so used to not having the iris that maybe i won't do the upgrade when it will be eventually available (in a few days in Germany ?)

What a great write up, very specific and exactly how I think when I sit in a car and look around. I really do love the gray-silver look on a porsche, but I prefer the orange or silver on the new mac...enjoy the car as it was built to be enjoyed I'm sure you will!!!!

Thanks! I'm not certain which one is more noticeable (my guess is that Ferrari red stands out a bit more), but I've already been approached by more people while out in the McLaren than I ever have in the F430. They are usually enthusiasts who want to hear about it or take pictures/videos. I have been very surprised by the number who know of McLaren already. I've also received a healthy amount of thumbs up on the road. People have been much more passive observers with the Ferrari; probably in part because they are much more common.
