Buying My First Supercar-Need Help!
#33
So just so we are all aware... is this your Dad's car that he said you could help out on the spec with, or will it actually be your car with your name on the papers?
Also, an mp4 in Delhi doesn't sounds like any fun at all. I'd much rather get that russian tank that way posted above.
Doubly, an mp4 at 17 means your life expectancy has gone sharply down. We have seen this same scenario happen a few times:
1. Guy gets powerful first car.
2. Guy posts about it on the interwebs to show off (first sign that shit is gonna go down)
3. Guy is in the papers a few weeks later after suffering a fatal accident in said supercar.
Please prove me wrong. Hopefully this is just your Dad's car that you are very excited about.

Please get an Aventador instead of a 12C. The Lambo has much more flair and a bigger horsepower number, so it must be better.
At the very least do NOT get McLaren Orange, that color is reserved for people that can drive.

imo,...
start with a car about 100-200 hp and then drive drive drive as much as possible, go to racetracks, do some safety training, do some laps with driving instructors. Then buy one with 200-350 hp, get used to the car and go to racetracks. than buy a 350-500 and do the same again. after that ... buy what you want and be glad you can own and actually drive a supercar proberly in young age.

i suggest mclaren orange, as for the age thing there are plenty of 17 year olds with pocket rockets that have more power than a mp4-12c and virtually no high tech safety aids like the mclaren. i worry more about those cars tbh
