Zero interest in this model.

Maybe when the production issues cease and they shove an aggressive body on it i'll pay attention.

Von Saurma is very experienced at the 'Ring, and he's laid down some impressive times with other cars as well, but this time is likely not the very best that could be wrung out of the car, as our source at McLaren told us. It does compare favorably to von Saurma's personal lap time list, shown toward the end of the video, with the McLaren outpacing a host of Porsche 911 GT3s, the Pagani Zonda F, and the Nissan GT-R. McLaren confirmed to us that the car used for von Saurma's lap was in fact a completely stock configuration, right down to the Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires.
Hmm..two comments:

1) Horst von der Saurma having just 12min for the ride - sorry I dont believe that and neither is it written in the sport auto article- infact with all the testing sport auto does with a car they would need 3 days for the whole test program.

2) completely stock: yes and no - even sport auto mentioned that the camber has been considerably off the normal street values..

I have the article in front of me..just ask others - they will confirm.

In no way Im trying to say that the Mcalren is a bad car - but its not a "revolution"

The shape is however really nice..I like it much more than the 458..its more understatement..

have fun with it
